Chasin' Tails Guide Service is a locally owned and operated fishing charter company in Rockport, Texas. As a full time resident of Rockport, I have the opportunity to spend numerous days on the water. This gives me the ability to establish fishing patterns, based on tidal movement, weather and wind conditions. I am available to fish in and around Rockport, Texas. My fishing adventures have taken me to many places around the world. I have fished in Scotland, Belize, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, The Yucatan of Mexico, The Bahamas, Costa Rica, Florida, Alaska, Colorado, Washington State, Oregon, Montana, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and New Mexico . My experiences have taught me many valuable lessons and I would love to share those with you! We usually will be sight fishing in extremely shallow water from a poling skiff for redfish, black drum, speckled trout, flounder and sheephead. My passion is flyfishing, We offer flyfishing, sight fishing, we also use conventional tackle, and wade fishing. Let us know what works best for you and we can do it. We do practice catch photo and release.

Multi boat trips are also available.

flyfishing trips -We can provide rods and gear, however we recommend you bring your own if you have it. 7,8,or 9wt rods work great. I can provide all the fly patterns currently working or bring your own. I hand tie all of my flies and tweak them for the conditions.

wading boots for wading and please bring your own gear for wade trips. We generally leave at first light, as we need the sun to sight fish. don't forget polarized sunglasses and sunscreen.
