At Chasin' Tails Guide Service, we're passionate about fishing and the great outdoors. Captain Andy has experienced many types of fishing around the globe. We are a  company that offers unforgettable fishing adventures for anglers of all levels. Our goal is to share our passion for fishing with others and to create memories that last a lifetime.

We offer a variety of fishing trips, from day trips to multi-day excursions. Our trips are designed to take you to some of the best fishing spots in the Rockport, Texas area and our experienced guides will ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience. Whether you're looking to catch trophy fish or just enjoy a peaceful day on the water, we have a trip for you. Multi boat trips are also available.

We provide all the equipment you need for an unforgettable fishing adventure — no need to bring a thing unless you want to! All of our gear is top-of-the-line, carefully selected to help you catch more fish and enjoy the experience to the fullest.

• Rods: Sage & St. Croix fly rods, St. Croix 7'6" spinning rods
   
• Reels: Sage & Hatch fly reels, Penn 2500 spinning reels
   
• Fly Lines & Leaders: Scientific Anglers fly lines, leaders, and tippet
   
• Tackle: All necessary tackle and accessories
   
• Hand-Tied Flies: Custom-tied flies tailored to current conditions
   

We can provide high-quality fly rods and gear, but we recommend bringing your own if you have it. Rods in the 7wt, 8wt, or 9wt range work best for our waters.
I hand-tie all flies specifically for local conditions and will supply the current productive fly patterns, or you're welcome to bring your favorites.

For wading trips, please bring your own gear and wading boots. We typically depart at first light for optimal sight fishing with the morning sun.

• Polarized sunglasses
   
• Sunscreen 

• Comfortable clothing for wet conditions
   

 I supply high-quality St. Croix 7'6" rods paired with Penn 2500 spinning reels, ready to handle anything the day throws at us. 

Capt. Andy also works with other local and knowledgeable guides. Our guides are experienced anglers who know the best fishing spots and techniques for the area. They'll provide you with expert advice and help you catch more fish. They're also knowledgeable about the local environment and can provide insights into the local flora and fauna.
